This country is saturated with political correctness --- the only out-of-bounds discussion is the mention of degradation of values and virtues of the general population - this is really the root of our crime problem - Not guns. Much like the war on drugs will continue to be an indefinite war for government expansion, so goes the "war on guns" - Along those lines I propose that DC police need to implement a special task force to track down these guns - also essential government funded education on gun awareness, the implementation of a 800 (or 900 even better) phone hotline 24/7 - this necessitates a tax increase for funding, but it is worth it - to track down these evil evil guns.
